Our Policies

We require every Client to read In Style Mobile Dog Spa’s Policy Agreement prior us performing any grooming services. By booking an appointment with us, Client hereby agrees and accepts all of our policies. Client hereby entrusts their pet(s) to In Style Mobile Dog Spa (noted as In Style hereafter) for the purpose of grooming services.

Payment Information

Payment is due at the time of service. In Style accepts cash and checks. Checks returned NSF will incur a fee of $25, plus any additional fee a bank charges. No further service will be provided until the fee is paid.

Cancellation Policy, No Show Fee

On very rare occasions, In Style may need to cancel your appointment due to weather conditions, illness, equipment failure, etc. In Style will make every effort to contact Client in advance to reschedule appointment.

If Client cannot keep their appointment, they must contact In Style via call or text at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to call or text 24 hours before your appointment or failure to have your pet available at the scheduled time will result in a charge of $45, which must be paid within 7 business days of your appointment date. While it is the Client’s responsibility to keep track of their scheduled appointments, In Style will send a courtesy text message one business day ahead to confirm an appointment.

Appointment Times

An appointment time is truly an estimated time of arrival. Arrival time will be in a 1-2-hour time span. As a mobile service, our schedule is a subject to minor interruptions and delays such as road traffic, refueling, extended service time of a previous appointment, etc. In Style will make every effort to contact Client to inform them about a delay and possibly rescheduling an appointment.

Matted or Neglected Coat

The Client is aware that severely tangled or matted pets are at a greater risk of injury, stress and trauma. Neglect of the pet’s coat can be a cause of problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation. If Client’s pet does not remain still, accidents can happen such as cuts, nicks etc. from clippers or scissors. However, it is at In Style’s discretion to determine if it is safe for the pet to be de-matted. If not, In Style will perform a shave-down of the pet’s coat. Shaving your pet may dramatically change your pet’s appearance. In some cases, it may result in a “skin see through” due to the short length of your pooches’ hair. This may expose a pre-existing skin condition, in certain breeds and coat types, the coat may not grow back the same. Removing a heavily matted coat includes the risk of nicks, cuts and abrasions due to moles, warts or skin folds trapped in and under the mats. The after affects of mat removal procedures may include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, or failure of hair to regrow. It is the Client’s responsibility to keep their pet’s coat in a good condition.

Veterinary information/ Vaccinations

Our top priority is the safety of your pet and the groomers’. We require all pets 4 months of age and older to be up-to-date on the Rabies vaccine.

Health Conditions

The Client agrees to notify In Style of any changes on their pet’s health conditions by sending an email to Instyledogspa@gmail.com or by sending a text message to (267) 827 8916. All known health issues must be disclosed prior to appointment. Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming and may require immediate medical attention. In the event of a medical emergency, the Client designates In Style as the Client’s agent and understands that In Style, in its sole discretion and in the best interest of your pet, may engage the services of a veterinarian at Client’s sole expense.

Senior Pets and Pets with Health Issues

Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet with health issues. Because senior pets and pets with health issues have a greater risk of injury, these pets will be groomed for comfort rather than looks, and in ways that will not add to their stress. We do our best to get your senior pet done more quickly. In Style will not be responsible for accident or injury to an elderly or health-compromised pet during their grooming.

Safety & Dog Behavior

The Client must inform In Style prior to grooming if their pet has bitten someone or has aggressive inclinations. In Style will not accept any aggressive dog. If false representations about the pet’s behavior were made when asked while booking an appointment or when the Client completes their forms on our website, we will discontinue services and the Client is still responsible for the full grooming charge. Client will be responsible for any health harm to a groomer as well as any property damage caused by their pet(s). For your pet’s and groomer’s safety, In Style has the right to stop services in the event a pet cannot be safely handled.


Client consents that In Style may take ”before and after” grooming pictures of their pet and utilize them for their website or social media for advertising purposes.

Code on File Service

For busy pet owners, In Style has added a convenient feature called “Code on File Service”. Client provides In Style with a garage code, a key to keep on file, or some other form of access to their pet. In Style will arrive to your home for a scheduled appointment time to care for your pet. The Client will leave an approved form of payment for the groomer.
